H22, especially if you like spirited driving or racing, H23 is the next best option, and you probably would not even bother with the F22. What exactly is going out on your transmission? gear syncros?

i have owned all three trannies @ one time or the next. i've driven all on h22 motor. f tranny w h22 in accord. h23 and h22 trannies in ludes. h22 tranny, has a much longer 1, 2, 3. the rest is the same ratio. 1 and 2 are much, much, better. if you really like shifting put in an h23 tranny in, f tranny isn't even worth discussing personally. didn't like the feel @ all. h22 tranny all the way imho

h22 tranny with a grabbier clutch setup
i personally love the feel of a stage 3 with an aftermarket pressureplate + lightened flywheel

but a stage2 + lighter flywheel + stock pressure plate will still be good i think. the responsiveness will be night/day difference

agreed. i have 8lb fidanza with stage 3 f1 racing clutch ( i haven't had any issues with the clutch). just feels great. had it on h23 and h22 setup. me likes.

The setup i had on my last lude was awesome. M2B4 LSD trans, 8 lbs flywheel, and generic stage 2 clutch. Id recommend it anyday.

The atts light will come anytime the check engine light is on. Go to autozone and find out what code the cel is for or jump the connector and count the blinks.

The ATTS MIL doesn't necessarily mean the whole ATTS system is going bad, it just means it's detecting a problem. Jump the 2P connector just like you were checking a CEL and it will flash the DTC's at you. If you haven't changed your ATTS fluid in a while, do that first. My MIL was coming on somewhat frequently when I first got my '97 SH and after I changed the fluid it's been fine. Unfortunately, 1997 was also the first year and had some issues being new technology.
