header modification question

header modification question
i currently have a edlebrock proflow header on my gsr, but it has only a 2in collector. i already have cams, and will be rebuilding the bottom end with jdm itr pistons, and think that that collector will be holding me back. would is be feasable to modify the header to have a 2.5in collector? or would i just be better off getting something new?

Yes, it is feasible to modify that header to a 2.5". I had one and it made pretty good power. 187 whp SAE.
