racing seats, help!!!
i'm looking for a set of racing seats, i've seen a pair of Ronin-style suede seats that come with sliders, but not brackets...
now, the question is, do i need brackets? i asked a friend of mine who builds muscle cars recreationally, and he said that sliders bolt to the floor and that the set i was looking at was complete to bolt in...
is this true? are they bolt-in? or do you need brackets? if so, then why?

ronin style huh, hehe umm yea well those seats won't pass tech, let alone look horridly cheap.
you need to go with a rated seat, even if you don't plan on racing. look into recaros and sparcos, if you can't afford it then just keep saving

i don't have the money or the interest in paying 1000 dollars for racing seats.
i have a friend with ronans that didn't come with sliders or brackets. i'm asking on his behalf as well. plus, they don't look cheap at all...they are suede and look just like recaros, weigh less than the factory seats, and also are very comfortable...
this is not a matter of brand-name, this is tech question.. do sliders bolt to the floorpan or do you need brackets?
