Racing Seats
Ok since no one can answer my last question. Can anyone tell me how much the seats weigh in a 93 honda civic coupe. I want to buy some new seats that are more comfortable because mine hurt the hell out of my back and I saw some that weigh like 9 pounds which sounds kick *** but they are like $700 a piece...I'm not rich so I'm trying to find something lighter and comfortable but that isnt over maybe $300 a piece... So can anyone tell me if they know of any seats....and how much do the stock seats weigh...thanks in advance.

Yeah I just noticed I need to learn to spell....well any seat really that is a reasonable price below 300 dollars. I was looking at sparco...but can't afford the really light ones. Thanks for the reply back though.

nex racing makes seats that are both lightweight and cheap. i believe they weigh ~14 pounds and a set of 2 costs around 300. cheap 
they are full on race seats so they do not recline. i have yet to sit in them but i imagine they might be a little sub-par. remember the old adage, you get what you pay for. at 300 a set i wouldn't be expecting too much.

You're really limited by the $300 pricetag....it's either Nex or swap some stock Honda seats in... preludes or del slo...

are you just looking for cool seats or ones that are FIA certified for racing?
cause just cool seats, just get a pair of del sol seats.
stock looking and they are great seats.
