Help: Broken wire
Reaching out to someone who can help me out with my 99 Civic Si. There is a broken wire in my engine bay. It leads to a connector which plugs into the thermostat housing where the top radiator hose fits into. There are 2 wires to this plug. The black one seems to be connected but doesn't seem firm. The green one is totally disconected from the plug. What does this plug connect to? Is it the water temperature sensor? I checked and my water temp gauge is working. The fan comes on too at a certain temperature. Just worried it might be something critical. To add, my thermostat has always been removed.
Can I get this plug from a honda dealer? It seems to be part of the engine wire harness. Any help appreciated.

just plug it back in?? is it a ground plug? if your fan switch thingy isn't missing a wire then i think its the ground, If i am remembering correctly, the thermostat housing's ground has 2 wires on it. green and black.
Actually I was referring to the two wires coming out from the plug that goes to a connector(part of the thermostat housing). One is green and the other is black. The green one is broken exactly at the back of the plug. Most importantly would be knowing what this "sensor" is used for?
