Default 92 hatch with ls or 94 with b20 ls

looking at some cars to buy...came across a 92 hatch with an ls...looks like b18b...then a 94 civic with an b20 ls swap...which one would be a better buy...looking for power an maybe boosting...dont really know to much about swaps

The coupe looks better 20 times over Im not big on body kits but the paint is Better condition

yea...im not to worried about the paint though...im more about power then looks...just trying to see which would make more power...but the hatch is closer and i love hatches...but the b20 has more work and parts done to it

not really...either one would be straight with me...i was just trying to see which one i could get more power out of...cause they both have engine swaps done...but i really dont know much about engine swapping

if you dont know anything about engine swapping, or fixing your car you should just buy a stock honda then read a haynes manual. This way when it breaks you can fix it. Lots of shops dont touch motor swapped cars (that is, if you dont know anybody to help you with it of course) just my 2 cents. This way you get more out of it in the long run, and have more credibility since you did everything yourself

i know enough to get by...but i know ppl who have engine swap civics and can work on them...one of my friends has an hatch hes doing an ls swap to and he says it can take my car i have now which is an 06 spec-v with some bolt ons...and i been thinking about selling my spec and getting a honda

I got a 93 teg with a b20 swap, its fun and got some *****, but yea id go with the b20 sleeve it and boost with a vtec head , but make sure u got the suspension,axles and slicks,and a dam good tranny lol unless u got the cash to replace parts.
