Power Steering?
Ok i have seen some people remove the power steering in their cars, is their any benefits to this, and is it any harder to steer your car without it
Benefits: less wasted power from the engine.
I say don't do it. Go in a big empty parking lot, get up to ~20 mph, shut off the engine, and then try steering. That should give you a good idea of how much effort is required to turn without power steering.

It's not HORRIBLE. But it is much more difficult at lower speeds. And parallel parking? Forget it.
If your car is stock or close to stock and you drive it often I would suggest maintaining power steering.
The benefits really do not outweight the costs.

its not so bad. Ive driven preludes with no PS. I really dont even notice anymore. Its not nearly as hard to drive as it is with the engine shut off. With the engine just shut off you must fight the pump. With it completely removed its not bad at all.
