98 accord shift boot question

98 accord shift boot question
just orderd a momo carbon shift boot for my 98 accord today. ik lookin at the inside of my accord and it looks like its going to be a real pain to install this shift boot. am i wrong in thinking this? or do i have to take out the dash to get to the center console and then take out the center console?
