new Oxygen sensor but still throwing codes
ok I got a 93 h23a vtec obd1.. my problem is when i start to get on it the check engine light comes on and its the Oxygen sensor but i just replaced it like a week ago.. I do have a small exhaust leak where the header meats the downpipe cause its missing a bolt.. would this cause my problems?? its starting to realy **** me off.. any help is appreciated..
When you throw a code on OBD1 for O2 sensor it can mean 2 things.
1. Its a bad O2 sensor
2. Your A/F ration is off.
Fix your exhaust leak first, and look for something like leaky injectors. If that doesnt fix the problem, it lies else where.

yea i reset the ecu.. and no not any other codes. when it comes on I just pull over and restart the car than it goes away till i get on it again...and if i try to hit vtec sometimes it will trow a code # 22 witch is the pressure switch and i cant figure that out eather.. I got enough oil. I just need to install my gauge to find out how much pressure im running.
humm. I put in the map. sensor that came with the h23 vtec motor and i had to mod the injectors from obd2 to obd1..all i did was shave a little plastic peice to make them fit.. could that be it?
