Honda Civic Airbox Swap
My gf has a 97 Civic LX, and I have a 1990 Civic LX. Both are the pavement pounding 1.6L engines (well, hers is, mine looks identical except the air intake ducting and air filter box.
Always liking to have some spare maintenance parts around, it'd make things a little easier if I could put the air filter box off a newer civic like hers on the tb of mine so both would take the same filter. And it'd be something to keep me occupied; that is, out of trouble. Kind of for the sake of tinkering. Being just a stock a to b car, I'm not really interested in a cai or shortram intake.
Hmmm... I do have a hood louver off a 1980s Dodge Daytona (see "Diagram 'a'"), maybe I could install that too, for kicks and giggles. Not that my car has unusually high underhood temps, but the hood has damage from being backed into by a pickup truck hitch so I might as well have fun with it as spare time and random crap in my garage allows.
