Dumb Idea? I think so But I think it would be fun. Tossed aroung the idea. I need something more for my d15b7 in my DD. Bored and thinking about stuff I came across itbs for sale for cheap. My buddy knows alot about tuning and we will be using crome. Basically heres what I want to do.

d16z6 head Ported n polished. Maybe a cam.
Stock d15B7 bottom rebuilt be me about 5k miles ago.
Gsxr 1000 Itbs with cut obx manifold
Obd1 conversion
some random header

Now you think I can make 140 whp out of it or is that just too much from a b7 bottom end. Also I know the rods are twigs but think that revving to 7800 often will snap them in a matter of time?

 

you can make 140hp without itb's lol. the rods are thin if you are paranoid get arp rod bolts.

 

or you could buy my d series itb's...
