vafc question. what is prs mean and is it bad if at full throttle it reads in the +s ? what is in 6
i drive a 99 , i have aem short ram, and apexi n1 catback, jsut bought the vafc. got some questions, what is 6 in 6 out, what does prs mean, my friend drives a del slow and he told me if it goes into the positives then that is bad , is he right , at full throttle mine does .why in the directions does it say do not start or turn car off while unit is in use, isnt it always in use??????????????thanx , only had it one day
6 in 6 out is the sensor number setting, and prs means pressure. It should not be going into positive numbers on a naturally aspirated car, because it's reading the voltage off of the map sensor. I'm not sure where you read not to start or turn off car while unit is in use, but that isn't true. You shouldn't start the car until the unit has been correctly initialized though.

well it usually hovers around -700 or so then at full throttle goes up and up till about _+ 0.12 or so sometimes a little more, shold i worry , i turned me car on before everything was set on my afc, and drove around. my car is running fine though.
Your MAP shouldn't be reading positive pressure at all, so something must be calibrated wrong. Turn off the car and reset the vafc, then turn power to accessory on and go through all the initial setting steps again. (page 7 of the VAFC manual)........

I have the same scenario, I've also re-calibrate mines and then I'll end up with +
on the pressure....Could that means too much air flow
on the pressure....Could that means too much air flow
