i know it was obvious all along, but thats actually what they're doing so. split em into parts and sell em online. its worth coming up with a way to stop this cos its surely the last, or only easy way to make money out of stolen bikes.
how bout a stolen bikes' frame number register and then frame number stamped on all parts, but then the seller could quote false numbers or get around it.
bike alarms with a 50,000 volt tazer feature seem the only way

yeah theft on bikes is starting to become a really big problem. something needs to be done
