Default pistons

I just got in some Nippon Racing turbo pistons for my B18b1 with new wrist pins and rings. are the pistons suppose to be pressed in, lock rings or do they just float? They slide right in and out and have no locking rings nor even grooves for some.

Also, i on the rings one is black, one is silver and the other is oil control ring. I know the oil one goes on the bottom but where should the black one go?

The pin should slide in/out of the piston, but not the rod. You'll need to have them pressed in.

Regarding the rings, call Nippon and ask them for some specifics, one ring should be slightly thicker than the other, but most rings have a designated top and bottom.

okay, so that's the way it is. The black ring is second, found this out by measuring end gap
