Whenever I hit the V-tec my car wont stop and I have to turn off the engine to make it normal again. can anyone please help me with this problem?

 

Be more precise, what won't stop ? Do you always feel you're in VTEC mode even when you drop out of 5200 rpm ?

 

Take foot off of gas and apply brake. I know i love vtec too but thats the only way i found so far to make it stop.

No comprendo...try to explain that a little better so that it makes sense. Your car won't stop what when you it VTEC?

 

Yea, it feels like its still in V-tec mode, and the car wont stop at all.. like even when I apply the breaks.. it slows down. but once I let go it starts accelerating again.

 

Its only when I hit V-tec the car doesnt stop at all. even when I apply breaks, it slows down but it struggles to like, if the acceleration was still pushed in. So the only way I could possibly stop is if I pull off to the side and turn off the car.

 

Take it out of gear? ummmm

 

its a tiptronic.

 

Sounds like your throttle is sticking for some reason...or you have a nasty vacuum leak. Probably a vacuum leak.
