2 nights ago, they cracked the door open and my alarm went off like nuts and they ended up not taking anything.

last night, these fools are pretty smart. they took off my bumper lens and yanked the hood cable from there. i gues they ran out of time or screwed up and just left the lens on the floor, leaving out the hood latch cable. i pulled on it and up came my hood. *******! i hate theives. got ripped off $3k last year already with my dvd system.

i bet they'll come back too. what should i be doing? i'd park in the garage, but pops just got a 03 mercedes so he's got priority.

oh yeah: i got most of my parts off the good people on honda-tech, most of them w/ paypal. will insurance reimburse paypal receipts? if i get jacked for this, i hope they total the whole car. get a WRX!

if u know they're gonna come back, hide some sort of video recording system in your car. Then u can bust those stoopid fawks.

see, i'd get a camera, but i'd set it up w/ some sort of motion detectors. at 2 frames per sec, im not too sure if that'll help out much. thing is it'll take me a few days to buy and set that stuff up too since im working crazy overtime to pay off this damn thing

or instead of putting a camera inside the car... bolt it on to your garage pointing it at the direction of the car. probably much easier. And another idea, get one of those motion sensor lights. It'll turn on when they approach your car. Maybe scare them off

 

car cover, tie it in with a mercury switch on your alarm system. Somebody lifts it, the mercury moves, the alarm goes off. Problem solved.

 

kinda sucks you cant park it in the garage. My dad just got a new Lexus but after my red Inetgra got stolen from our driveway he told me to park my current car in the garage, no one is going to steal a Lexus anyway. They have these driveway alarm systems that are pretty cheap, you can set up a sensor in your driveway that will set off an alarm in the house if someone comes into your driveway at night. I looked into it a little bit, it looked pretty decent, there were things you can do so that animals and stuff dont set it off at night.

 

Damn, man...you have some **** luck. Hide by your window at night with a paintball gun with frozen ***** and start blasting some fawkers.

technically...if you have a legal registered gun...you CAN shoot possibly KILL them with no trouble...if they are trespassing. ...just a thought.

Ebay sells some pretty good servallance camera;s cheap, I got mine for like 25.00 shipped which included a black and white camera with microphone, seems to work pretty good and is very simple to hook up to any tv.

Go buy an electric pellet gun or a bb gun and sit on your roof or in the bushes. When they come around bust their asses. I also like the idea of shooting them with frozen paint *****, those things fking hurt. Hope you get them before they get anything.

you better alert the police, it helps to have them know this is happening rather than them asking you why you didn't say anything earlier. But get a motion activated spot light w/the double lights and stick in two 100w bulbs. The down side to this is they can take a pelet gun and shoot the bulbs. Otherwise keep the car clean so its easier for cops to dust for prints (I don't know if they do that where you live) and relocate your hood release cable through the fender and behind the head lights.

 

there is this one cop that lives down the street from me, butt too far to have him keep a good eye out as well. i talked to him, and let him know that i wanted to let the police know, butt he said every part i upgraded on my car is illegal in california, so i'd get busted before any of them will.

anothger neighbor of mine had cameras and a motion detector light. thieves knocked it out, took his ****.

 

I would do that for about a week... along with a baseball bat... and ask a friend to camp out too...

if they tried twice. they will be back again..

 

i was gonna say.
get a bat or gun of somesort..hide in the bushes with army paint on your face
when they come near...let them go to work...then surprise them and kick their asses!

 

for real, pull some night watch duty and catch them faulks.

the paintball idea is good... alot of times the paintballs warp slightly or something so they get might catch a tad in barrel.

might try an using a taser on them and just keep doing it every little bit till the cops come or you feel better.
