Well it might sound dumb, but I have a B16 with Skunk2 Intake Manifold, AEM cold air intake, DCSports Header, and a Skunk2 catback exhaust.(With stock 88 CRX SI CAT) My car is converted to OBD-1, and you can't even here vtec at 5200? It pulls hard to 8K, but on my old GSR engine, you could hear vtec engage with a CAI... Im running a stock P30-A00 USDM ECU. Would these modifications make vtec quieter???

you cant hear vtec cause yours is single cam. end of story

I have herd some very loud SOHC, But either way this was still a good burn ROFL

 

Your VTEC hits at 5200? Mine always did at 5700.

 

different ECU's engauge at different points but most are between 5200 and 5800

 

Mine is stock as I said, P30-A00 USDM DelSol VTEC ECU. VTEC at 5200... I can hear it 1st and second, but not 3rd-5th.

 

I never mention after market tunes or chips......
