oil cooler
ok so i just bought an aluminum radiator to an automatic for my manual 94 hatch d16z6. i was thinking about turning the transfluid cooler part of the radiator into an oil cooler. pretty much i'm trying to figure out where to hook up the input line of the cooler cuz i already have a return line ready cuz the used motor that just got installed was turbo so the return line will go into the pan. any advice would be helpful. thanx
well to really get the most out of that, you would need to get a remote filter mount and run the hose to the filter, through the cooler and back into the motor via plate.
"Use Search to find" but go off of the oil pressure sending unit on the back of the block under the Intake manifold. Route your line to the radiatior then connect your line to the return line into the pan.

what temp should oil run at? make sure to check that your 200 degree water won't be heating up your oil instead of cooling it. I think trans fliud runs hotter than oil therefore it can benefit from cooling next to water.
