Default Engine Break in Oil?

I'm in the middle of replacing rod bearings on an 02 type S and would like to know if there is any special lubricant I need to apply to them or any special oil to break them in while they seat.

First time touching a high revving engine and I'm assuming they may be different then the 350 Chevy blocks I've built.

Thanks.

Ok everything is back together, but I noticed slight lateral play in the rods. Is this normal?
