Time for a rebuild!! Engine gurus look!!
Whats up guys I got a 95 Gsr with 203k miles and I feel like its time to rebuild it but with better parts than OEM. I want to fully build it from top to bottom and my goal is 185-205 whp N/A without nitrous! So far I made a list of the following that I'm gonna order but need yalls opinions first. List: Eagle rods, AEM pulleys, AEM cam gears, AEM fuel rail, type-r pistons, stage 2 clutch with light weight flywheel, either Crower stage 1 cams or type-r cams but Idk what would be better yet. I need inputs of what other or certain parts will help me achieve my goal if not even more than my goal, all inputs welcome thanks in advance.
For your build just stick to oem rods but upgrade to ARP rod bolts. ITR pistons will be good, and some cams and upgraded valvetrain, type r style intake manifold, and a good header and tune will easily get you 185-190 whp.

This stuff plus the cam gears, pulleys and fuel rail or just that stuff alone?

stick with the type r pistons and arp rod bolts. stock fuel rail is fine for your hp goals. focus more on good cams,a velocity stack intake would be my choice and blox intake manifold , a good header and exhaust, and valvetrain and most importantly a good tune

Skip the aftermarket fuel rail, get adjustable cam gears, you'll need them for proper dyno tuning to get the most out of your build.
The money spent on underdrive pulleys can be used for a good tune or even for a good valve job.

Go to the "search" function (that little red word in the top right part of your screen) and type in "200 whp" into the search for field. Then select the "All Motor" forum for the where to search parameter and then go over and click on the Archived content button, then press search. You will get a lot of information as to what you're looking for. Start using this feature more and be amazed at what you might find out.
