i wanna thank you for checking this thread.

okay my problem is the starter for my 1990 honda civic is falling off.
i think i lost two of the bolts that holds my starter. for sure i know the
top/upper bolt is missing and the bottom i cant see.

i tried replacing the top bolt (size 10-35 i think) but the bolt wont stay and
the starter just hangs. i think the hole is stripped which is my worst fear bcuz
idk what to do.

please if anybody can help me or give me an idea for starter
that would be great. cuz school starts less than a week and i live
freaking far away and no one drives in my family.

Remove starter and inspect holes.
then if there good replace the bolts from a junk yard civic, or take your bolt you have to hardware store.

If you get them in tighten them good and put loctitie on them.

If the hole is stripped take your car (or if you can do it) and get the hole helicoiled.

 

awrite now this sounds pretty easy but to tell you straight up i had to google loctitie and helicoiled cuz i didnt know wut they are.
can u like um tell me which hardware store can do this. (orchard supplies) would they do this. thx
