Looking for 1998 ITR #728 or #729
I don't know my badge number due to theft, not the whole car just parts of it. Joe/Doespike has narrowed it down for me between these two numbers and I need to find by serial number brother. WHO THE HELL ARE YOU lol

No, only the first ~130 of the 2001s seem to be random.

There is a general pattern of higher the VIN, higher the badge. Though it is common for entire "batches" of ITRs to be out of place within the badge # sequence....though within that batch, they tend to be fairly linear with some flip-flopping. I've also come across batches of Rs that were perfectly linear for 10-15 caRs. VIN increases by 1, badge up by 1.
This Registry project is all about collecting as much known information as possible and finding the break points in these batches as well as confirmed VIN/badge combos. Having the known combos help to narrow down badges by process of elimination. One particular 97 I've been working on for a couple years now...I first figured it was in the 90s or maybe 70s. Over time, more 97s popped up and I knew she was around the low 90s (I also came across info on the 70s to rule them out). As of now, she has been narrowed down to #89, 91, or 92.
I also try to match up histories of badges to VIN histories.
So if anyone out there has some confirmed VIN/badge matches (from past or present Rs) they would be willing to share to help the cause, please PM me. The info is kept offline and confidential.
We will find CJs badge someday

Giving out vin# on a theft magnet car is no easy decision.
