Default overheat with top hose hot and lower hose cold !

MY car seems to be overheating! so at first it kepts doing little *** jumps until it went to the middle mark and while driving i noticed when it would go up each time i gassed it.

so what i did was :
bleed / refill.
New thermostat.
put new gasket makers on the top and lower hose housings.

its still overheating...maybe im not getting the air out correctly?
what i do is i top off the coolant and turn on the car but when i turn on the car the coolant starts to keep overflowing and some bubbles come out. is this normal?

also my top radiator hose is hot and my lower one is cold...all the time. could it be plugged or something ?

and NO leaks! its still overheating slowly.. after its warmed up..

Lower hose cold = thermostat not opening. Maybe you got a bad one. If you didn't get an OE Honda one, then get one.

The coolant rises because there is still air in the system. Happens to me sometimes after flushing my coolant. The air usually works its way out eventually, and I might have to just top off the radiator a bit.

so if it keeps flowing...and flowing.. out the radiator cap that means i got hella air bubbles?

i got a brand new thermostat and gasket at autozone just 2 days ago..

so i should just keep letting it overflow until it doesn't overflow anymore?

if its the water pump then the top hose wouldn't be hot either...right?
well im getting a new radiator and seeing if it fixes that. if not then at least ppl will know its not the radiator.

im thinking the radiator's clogged thats why the bottom hose is cold.

Alright so get this... i forgot to mention my battery is dead and i always have to jump it and start fidgeting with it to see what the problem is.

i swapped batteries out to test it and it turns out it was the battery problem! i noticed that the car was weak on electricity when i turned on the headlights and heater and all this stuff. so when i changed it i guess the car got enough electricity to work all the sensors and so the heat sensor and all that worked. the lower hose is just as warm now

case solved. damn the battery. if anyone got problems with overheating and such, pm me anytime. i hella got the 411 on overheat problems and coolant stuff.

oh yeah and i put in a brand new radiator and the problem still persists...then when the battery swap came in. car goes good no overheat. WHACK brand new radiator for nothing haha

eh I'm sure the new one is better than the old one. It probably cools more efficiently now. Kinda like the time I swapped out my steering rack for a rebuilt unit because I thought it was making a noise that turned out to be the lower ball joint. Oh well, original had 250K miles on it so I figured it was nice having a new rack anyway.

WOWOWO i just figured it it was my ground to the valve cover. my paint probably messed it up somehow but when i switched it to the valve cover tightening bolt. everything was fixed no overheat no nothing. lower hose and upper hose is perfect.

new radiator, new thermostat, and swapped batteries....

and all it was...was a damn ground wire.

GG cased solved. me
