Default Looking to buy a Cold Air Intake for my 1992 Honda Accord EX

I can't find it anywhere in stores so I decided to try ordering online, but some websites I have of course never heard of so I get a bit paranoid. Also when it comes to automotive you don't want to buy something and then not have it fit or work properly since it's alot more difficult to return online...

So anyway I found this one, which looks like it would end up facing downwards but it's hard to tell looking at the angle.

Here it is:

There's also this I saw on eBay:

I also know these are really cheap compared to better intakes like K&N and AEM but I don't have the money for that.

Do you guys think these would work? I'm more skeptical about the black one, but if it would fit im sure that would work better giving the position it would be in (or atleast what it looks like to me).

It's a metal pipe with a filter.

It's not rocket science............

So yes they will work as an intake

Yes I know what it is and what it does, I have already put it into cars before, probably one of the easiest things to do... I'm just wondering if it looks like it would actually fit into my car. But im more concerned about the black one, the one on ebay looks like it should fit with no problem...

But if the black one would fit, would that one work better because of it's position?

You're looking at it in a different angle, it should from the looks of it shoot straight down into where the resonator is, the exact same as the ebay one, just one piece.

Turn the image 90 degrees to the left, and you'll be looking at it from the vantage point of looking at the passenger side wheel.

I have an ebay one, works fine. It does however, require you to cut into the fram for most to fit for a full cai. It will require some slight thinking on your part to install it, as it comes with no instructions.

A 30$$ cold air intake off E-Bay will work just fine for your honda!!!! No point in really spendi 300 for somethin that does the same thing as a 40$ item.

Why bother? Your honda is not a performance car. Spend the money on maintenance and keeping it running well and efficiently. It what the car was built to do. Transport people from place to place while getting good mileage.

Its not a race car. Stop pretending, or go buy a real car.
