I'm wanting to add abs to my civic hb. I was wondering what parts i need to do the conversion with. Was reading that its possible but you need sensors , can you add these sensors? Also have a rear disc conversion from a 92-95 integra if that helps at all. Thanks.

 

Off the top of my head you need the following:
- ABS fuse box
- ABS wiring harness
- ABS axles (they have a ring on them)
- ABS sensors
- Rear disc brakes from a '92 - '95 LX with ABS or EX civic sedan (sedans had ABS, some if not all Si hatches had 4 wheel discs, but no ABS), '94 - '01 integra rear discs from cars that had ABS should also work fine as well.
- ABS Master cylinder and brake booster
- ABS brake lines
- ABS "Box" -> I believe this is the main control unit, it mounts to the firewall if memory serves me correctly
- Front rotors and calipers from a '92 - '95 LX sedan with ABS, EX sedan or a '94 - '01 integra with ABS
-gauge cluster from ABS equipped civic sedan if you want to be really picky and have the indicator light.

Thats at least most of it, certainly very doable, but it doubt it would be worth it.

 

you also need the passenger compartment wire harness and the abs ecu that is located in the rear trunk area

 

yea......now seeing the list i pretty much sure that it isnt going to be worth it, rather spend the money on other things. Hey but thanks for the list just in case i want to.

 

i have a 95 civic coupe stock ABS. im looking to take out my abs so we could do some kinda trade with a little cash on top on your end if your interested. LMK
