Default TDC sensor / Cam angle sensor

05' Acura RSX-S

Long story short >>>Car wont start after cam installation. both TDC/Cam angle sensors were damaged. Is this the cause of no start or is the car not in time ??

Uninstalled Crower stge 2 cams and installed stock cams, both sensors were damaged during the swap. Ordered replacement sensors and supposedly will get here in 2 days.

The car looks to be in time. we have turned the motor over manually to verify the motor is in time and it looks like everything is lined up...

My question is that while we were at the dealer i asked the "certified tech" if the car would start with the damaged sensors in and just throw a CEL. (as if the sensor went bad) but he was unsure weather or not it would start.

So i called some local shops and have gotten mixed opinions from many mechanics whether or not this is the issue or if the car is just out of time... (I can post some pics if needed.) Some say its bc the car doesnt know if its in time and is in protection mode.

Has anyone else run into an issue like this ??? TIA.

thats what i thought it would do, but the car wont start... Im hoping its Kpro not allowing it to start due to the damaged sensors but i wont know until the new ones arrive.

Would someone be willing to unplug their 2 TDC sensors on the head and attempt to start their car and let me know what happens ?

It should not start to my knowledge because the cam and crank sensors are EXTREMELY important for our cars to make timing and etc.
