Beside the weight, would it be worth it to do a VTEC head on a CRV instead of pulling the engine for a swap into a coupe or hatch? I mean, it does have that real time all wheel drive?

Saw that in super street a while back. had type r head maybe a turbo too. Dont really remember. Im betting blown tranny though. I dont think those trannies can take much power.

 

seen that article as well. just lemme go scrounge up my 2 year old stack of ss mags, lols. quite sure it can be done. but it had a bad outcome. it might have had something to do with the tranny or was that one of the crank bearing. can't remember. but they actually tried it.

 

yeah, please lemmie know, if there are any weak areas in this type of build up

 

It may be hearsay but I heard the rear diff is a weak point. ???
