juss like the topic says..

i juss had a new clutch put in and now its leaking oil..
can anyone tell me what i can do to make it stop..

Well, where exactly is it leaking from?

 

its leaking between the tranny n the block

 

Hmmm, are you sure it's coming from your tranny? it sounds like it might be your engine's rear main seal if it's leaking from between the two. Did you damage it at all when you put your new clutch on?

 

im new to this whats the engines main seal?
i had someone put it in for me.. i dont think he damaged it wen he put it in

Well, that's your rear main seal. The red ring. Those bolts you see are for your flywheel.


I think the rear main seal on my old motor was leaking, since there was so much oil in my trany housing. Are you getting gushes of oil?? maybe a pic would help.

no, its not gushing but it drips like every few seconds
