Default B16A2 engine leaking bad

I just got a B16A2 engine from my friends del sol. The head was warped so he took it into a local automotive shop who sent it to a machine shop to get the head shaved down to eliminate the warp. The automotive shop put a .7mm head gasket on when then put the engine back together. The head gasket isn't blown but the engine is leaking coolant and oil really badly now just from starting it. Do I just need to put a thicker head gasket on? I found a 2.6mm from HKS...i believe that was the size of it. Please help. Thanks.

So if the head gasket itsn't blown, where is the coolant coming from? The rad?

What are your torque specs on the head studs?

Did you replace the head studs to ARP?

If its a new headgasket and its leaking right away, its either the wrong head gasket or it was installed wrong.

Actually Idk. Im currently in Iraq and I just got this motor since Ive been here but I havent gotten to personally look at it yet. My friend said it was torqued back to factory settings while it was at the mechanics shop. He said he thought it was the coming from the block but the block was just replaced and it didnt have any problems from the block before he took it into the shop so I think hes just mentally retarded.

Well have your "mentally retarded" friend pin-point the origin of the leak. Until this is done, there is nothing we can do for you except guess.
