fog light help! fuse blows up

Default fog light help! fuse blows up

well i wired my fogs today and like the fuse blows up and i really have no clue why, the original fuse blew up so i took out my defroster fuse (number 30) and it blew up and i used my friends fuse and that blew up too so i really have no clue as to why it does that, theyre not OEM honda lights its aftermarket so yeah can anybody help me? *forgot to add information if this helps* the fogs turn on for about a second and then you can hear the fuse blow up

a short somewhere in the wiring.

my fried said i need a bigger fuse? he said one per light? which doesnt sound right cause my dad also said theres a short, how do you find a short with the wiring?

your friend is wrong. a bigger fuse wont blow. something else will fail like your wires burning up . i had the same problem when i installed mine. somethings not wired right, i suggest rewiring it for starters. check everything over a few times.

just rewire them. it cant take more than an hour. and beats trying to find a short.

i wired mine independently, they have their own ground, and theur own power, with a fuslink on both, and they work great, i just loomed it into the chassis harness going to the engine bay, its awesome, so re wire it, kinda like i did, if you have any cquestions, pm me ill do my best to help you out
