Be prepared to be flamed. Most people HATE this conversion.

It's not a kit.

There are TONS of threads on this though.

Oh, and that first image is a '96-'98 front conversion.

I searched for "del sol front end conversion" and these are some of the results. Try that query elsewhere and you'll find more results.

DEL SOL FRONT END CONVERSION
96 Del Sol S with 99-00 Civic Front End Conversion
Del Sol to EG front end conversion (What does it take)
Del Sol to Civic front end conversion.
Del Sol front end conversion
93 del sol to 96-00 civic front end conversion

You're welcome.

The white one gets posted a lot here. Everytime there's a thread asking about this, it gets posted. Never seen the purple and silver one though. Probably because it's much ricier than most people's tastes on this site.

I honestly think they're all horrible and it's terrible to see a del Sol, which isn't a common car to begin with, torn apart like that.

But I'm a purist.

But all that would happen if you say it's ugly is someone else will come in and defend it and the OP, reminding us all (as though we forgot) that it's the "OP's car and he can do what he wants with it."

yeah mine isn't going to be too ricey, but it will be alittle showy cause the purpose for the sol for me is to have a fun little race car (that handles close to a kart) that will also turn some heads taking it down to university AVE on friday nights, and i have only driven one but it had the feel i wanted and they look beautiful, so to me its the best option for right now

Please don't mess up a nice car, even though it's stock If you like the 99-00 headlights than go get the 99-00 Civic.

Can I get an "AMEN".
Seriously I see a gang of people doing them Si conversion and all. I think its ridiculous. I have a 97 Ej8 and I don't plan on doing that. I love it the way it is. I think it looks sick with a lip and those square looking fogz. Im very fond of the Si's front end also but I would just buy a 99-00 model then to convert it and wast money on apperance when it can go to some performance parts. Just my .2 cents.

QFT!

The rest of the car will still be a Del Sol, you know?

If you prefer the looks of a 96-00 CiViC, buy one!

Hrm...

I wonder if anyone ever put a Del Sol front clip on a CiViC?!?!?

We've all seen it before. It also looks bad.

As I mentioned, there are TONS of threads about del Sol (and Civic) conversions. I've began saving every horrible photo of a del Sol with a conversion just for threads like this. So far the file has 90 photos including:

5G Prelude
5G Civic coupe/hatch
6G ('96-'98) Civic
6G ('99-'00) Civic
7G Civic coupe
3G ('94-'97) Integra
3G (JDM) Integra
3G Integra with extra lights
S2000 (rear too)
RSX
Nissan Silvia
Nissan Skyline R32 (rear too)
Toyota Celica
Toyota MR2
Toyota Supra

I also have a photo of a del Sol without the corner lights, but instead with the fenders extended (looks HORRID). Another one with an Enzo styled front bumper. Another with a body kit and a boser hood. Another with three sets of auxiliary lights.

I prefer cars to have the front end they came with or possibly the front end off a car that's on the same basic body. By that I mean cars like the Civic sedan and the 1.6EL.

I've seen it on a 5th gen, but no 6th gen so far.

(I love that TinyPic offered to set it on fire.)

The white one doesn't look as bad as the G35 one, I've seen.... which is horrid. Same with the Integra one I just posted... both gross. IMHO. There's some more ideas for you, ricer.

Here you go man, for your rice.

Seriously I don't know why so many people need to mess up Hondas like that. Del Slows look just fine, in fact, it may be one of the only things they have going for 'em. And yet people come and wanna change it up and make it look like complete crap..You'll "turn heads" on "University Ave" alright, but because your car looks ridiculous. 1999 is over, rice is out, and clean should have always been in.

Good luck.

i dont think it looks bad at all. in fact, it looks pretty clean to me.all the other cars had extreme looking conversions, but theres nothing on that blue car that says rice whatsoever. i think its a subtle conversion. go for it and good luck!

I actually kinda like the 99 front end conversion, but I guess to each their own.
