take off your oil cap and see if it looks like a milkshake exploded. if it does, then your headgasket is bad for sure.

If it doesn't, you might be burning coolant as a result of a bad headgasket, but you will need to perform a compression test to verify it.

hey, i just did a compression test on my gsr motor that looks like its blowing white smoke under hard acceleration and the results were 185 across the board.....what do you think about that sanimalp? can it be possible the head isnt torqued down to spec after it was rebuilt or the head gasket blew with only about a 1000miles since rebuild?

are you able to verify that it is coolant? like is your radiator below full, or do you fill your overflow bottle and it gets consumed in a short period of time?

if you haven't verified it is coolant, then way way too much gas manifests as whitish grey smoke.. but you need to catch a whif of it to see what it smells like. IF it smells like a lot of gas, then one of your injectors might be messed up, or your fuel pressure regulator may not be functioning correctly, or your map sensor vacuum line may have come off. If it smells sweet and like steam, then it is most definitely coolant.
