i just dropped in a b16a and wanted to take it to the track with slicks but wasnt sure if the oem axles would hold up or break

 

never know until you try right??? is your axles riped, making noise, old, damaged??? if so then replace it...what kind of clutch you got in it???

stock clutch and brand new axles

has anyone else had success/problems with slicks on oem axles?

 

I've seen guys with 200whp snap axles left and right and then I've seen 500 whp guys never break an axle in over 5 years. It depends on driving style.
As mentioned in other post, there are 600 whp civic's still running OEM axles. So you should be fine.
