Default what do I need for rear disk brake conversion on a 92 hatch?

I have a bone stock 92 hatch and the rear disk brake conversion is the first mod i'm doing. What parts do i need from my local junkyark? What should I look for? I plan on just upgrading the rotors and pads rather then spending all that money on a big brake setup, sounds good or bad? Tips, pointers, PLEASE

Just get the trailing arms and upper and lower (both prolly optional, but i always pull them together) a arms off of a 94-01 integra and your pretty much set. I think they will work but just in case get the rubber brake lines too.

Also, the front rotors on your car are pretty small, if you care about performance go ahead and grab the front spindles with everything attached off the same kind of car for about an inch bigger rotors, makes a HUGE difference, wel worth it imo.

Then if you really wanna do it right, grab a proportioning valve off of the same car (so your rear brakes dont lock up under hard brakeing) and then get a 15/16th inch master cylinder off of, if i remember correctly, a 88-91 civic ex 4 door.

They have rebuilt ones of those on ebay for pretty cheap, or try and find one at your local auto parts store.

THEN, what i do is get a whole lot of dot4 and flush all of the brakes for new fluid and get new rotors and pads too, it makes a world of difference, but thats just me, if you wanna just do the rear do that and save some time

Thats it pretty much, I mean, thats a lot of parts.

Rear: Take the trailing arm and the upper and lower a arms too, and take the rubber brake line also. (Worth about $200 for the rear)

Front: I pull the upper a arm with the spinle with everything attached, except I typically leave the lower a arm. So again, I end up with the entire spidle with the upper a arm. (Worth $100-$150ish)

Extras: old civic master cylinder, with this one, vs an integra conversion, you won't have to switch your brake booster.

$100

and proporting valve off of an integra, I just look around junkyards till I find one that looks like it will work with mine without modifications ($20)

And then of course you need to add the cost of new pads and rotors, if you want to. On the first conversion I did I left the old stuf on there for awhile.

Also, sometimes you can find someone parting out an integra, in my area anyways, if you buy the front and rear conversion at the same time then its usually about $300-350.

Hope that helps.
