I have 6 x 9s installed in the stock location in the rear of my '89 Si. Installed via zip ties because I couldn't bear to cut the interior up. Has worked for over 3 years

don't buy cheap JVC speakers unless you want to use them as components for woofers... the tweeters went out about a week after i bought them.
i've got old school sony explodes in there w the jvc grills.... the jvs replaced my g/fs stock door speakers in her forenza.... lol

here's my setup, had a friend cut holes in the cargo cover and used 3rd gen prelude rear speaker inserts (painted black)

I'm so glad I did this, I don't know how I survived with only two speakers and a sub before hand...
