is your alt belt on? your battery light will stay on when driving if it snapped off. i know my sedan has a hard time starting when i let her sit for a few days, but it has never not started.

we might be alot more helpful if you had that stuff fixed, how did you come to the conclusion that you starter wire might be bad?

me and my friend went under there witha test ligh and some where along the wire went bad and i was told that the alternator is bad and the batt light turns off when its on. but stays on when the key is turned right before ima start it. idk if the alternator went bad cause ive been push starting it just to get around before the batt has been completely dead

hmm well you batt light will stay on till its started, it sounds like you have test light so i would charge the battery up, volt test while its out of the car to make sure its holdin charge, if so put it in hook it up and keep the volt meter on the battery and see what it does in each position of the key.
if that starter wire got hot and melted it could be groundind to another wire and shortin the battery out.
any signs of melting?

do you have any corrosion on your terminals? Could be that its crept up one of the cables and causing a draw. I had a simliar problem... brand new batt went dead over night
. Just drive to like Napa or something and have them check your batt / alternator to narrow it down. But it sounds like a draw.
