Drain the oil, remove the old oil pan, put in the new one.

Well I know that, but how would you do it though? Is there anything else I would need to remove like exhaust or anything like that?

How would I do it? I would undo all the screws and try to pull out the pan. If it didn't come out because something was in the way, I would remove that too. But that's just me.

Replacing your oil pan isn't exactly that easy.
Well, I mean, it's that easy, but in order to replace it you need to buy a enitrly new oil pan, oil pan gasket, and i believe another part....i can't remeber right now. I found this out when I thought my oil pan needed replacing. Go to your local Advanced, Checker, AutoZone, etc.. and they'll tell you everything that you'll have to replace.

Your oil pan alone is not leaking 1/2 quart a day. You probably have a rear main seal leak and your front engine seals are probably leaking too

wait, why do you need to replace the oil pan if all you want to replace is the gasket? Someone told you the wrong info, don't go back to them for advice, unless there is something you are telling us.

to replace the oil pan gasket you don't need to replace anything else extra. Drop the down pipe, remove the center support beam of the front subframe and remove the oil pan, wipe everything clean and install in reverse order. Make sure you install in the proper sequence and torque spec.

This is a good deal.

Are you still trying to replace the oil pan, or are you giving up and moving on?

That is a lot of oil leaking out. I would just change your oil pan as well, and the gasket. Also make sure no screws broke off. Its Easy to replace

mine is doing the same thing not quite as bad but mine is just the gasket cause they guy i bought it from is a retard...im having to fix everything they already fixed its starting to **** me off, but still thats my fault for not looking at the car better before i got it. Im going to just replace the oil pan gasket cause i can clearly see that it is seeping from there.
