smog!

Default smog!

okay so im really confused about those whole ref station so i hope someone can shine some light if my car is a 95 civic and the motor i have currently is a jdm d15 will it pass smog? straight up no illegal smog, just smog seeing as how the reg stations are closed i cant get it legal theyre both 1.5 liters and i hear if its of the same size and such itll work to smog so yeah any input would help thanks!

Just put all your stock parts back in and smog it. 95% of the time the guy at the station won't even know the difference between the JDM and USDM, especially if they're both SOHC, at least where I live. I had a SOHC ZC in my EF and they didn't even say anything when I brought it in. Passed with flying colors. Everything was stock of course.

Now if you have a Test Only deal, that can be a little tricky. But with the current BAR crisis, they will probably ease off on you on the technicalities.

as long as it's a legal replacement in their database, you're fine. best bet is to call and ask them what the appropriate replacements are. and i'm pretty sure that d15 is good. i passed a sohc zc in a crx. they don't check your engine code usually.
