Looked around on here a little bit to see if i could find it but could not. Can anyone tell me where to find my IAT sensor. They say it should have 2 wires but i am finding sensors that have like 3 wires and 5 wires not just 2. I have a 2007 Honda Civic SI. Thanks......

I don't think they were really ragging on YOU.....more towards Ebay instead. It's a "hit or miss" type deal with ebay. Sometimes you can get a real steal from the site.....but alot of times people get scammed, ripped off, cheap merchandise, or **** that just wreaks all kinds of havoc on your car.

Best bet is to just stay away from ebay when it comes to major parts for your car.....unless you know the company on Ebay that's selling the parts.

Because many people on here think that everyone else that joins this forum should be a Honda genius, just like them. But, some people are either naive, or new to cars, and don't understand some things, which is fine. I see this forum's main purpose as a learning tool, but many people see it as an excuse to be a ***** for no reason.

Anyway, for future reference, if it sounds too good to be true (aka-"30+ HP with $10 ecu chip") it probably is. At least you found out about it, before you jammed the thing in your car, and potentially messed something up.

NO NO NO...you're missing my point. When someone should know better, or just some d-bag being a jerk, flaming and tearing of one's vaganis is very welcome. But, if the OP is an obvious noob or a naive kid, cut him a break. Help him, and then if he is still a taint, burn him down.

 

Honestly from what I remember sivic only said uber tastic ebay chip and the op started calling him names and what not. Maybe it was directed to me for saying egay but ioono.

On 07 models it is part of the maf....... its refered to in the service manual as "maf/iat" sensor in the intake pipe. yes, you have a maf instead of a map. its a 5pin connector right near air filter box
