cheap coilovers, whats the skinny
So what do you guys think about the lower budget suspension set ups? Im talking full coilover kits, but the cheap ones. Heres a list of ones i know about under the 7-800 dollar range.
tanabe sustec pro, sustec pro type II
Form and Function type I
Ksport
D2
Megan(kind of out of budget, but not too far)
Tein Basic
yonaka(again, a bit out of budget)
Ok, basically i am looking for your guys thoughts on the different set ups. The suspension is going on a 94 accord(so i may not have things listed that are under 800 for civics, because generally accord parts run 70-80 more) I really like the price of the FF type 1, but am concerned about not adjustments, i also really like the tanabe sustec soc. Basically im looking for an affordable coilover system for my daily driven car to drop 3in and prove good handeling. I dont need race car handeling because i imagine that my tires will limit me much more than any of these suspensions will. I run good quality tires(planning to buy proxe 4s.) Any input?

I personally have Ksport on my Accord and for the money,I like them and have been very satisfied.I was going to get Tein Basics but decided not to because the lack of dampening adjustment.A friend of mine has Megans on his STI and he says that he loves them.I have no experience with any of the other ones on your list.

What you are looking for doesn't exist, because you are asking for too much.
When it comes to suspension, pick any two: Cheap, comfortable, low, performance. You can't have them all.

I understand this. Im not actually asking for everything. I dont need race car handeling, I dont need bentley comfort, and i dont need bags low. I just want a stiff suspension that isnt bouncy, that will out handel my ebay ****, and doesnt cost 1k.

personally i would look into PIC (performance in control) coilovers, they have a very nice entry level coilover that wont make you sell you left kidney
