1st, theres only obd2a and obd2b. check the plugs.
you know how theres 4 slots, I think if its like
pins|pins|empty|pins then its obd2a
pins|pins|pins|empty then its obd2b

sinec its an auto ecu, I'm not too sure, I read that autos use all 4? not sure though.

Its out of a '96 civic right? provided no one ever replaced it its OBD2A. '96 - '98 civic and integra=OBD2A, '99 - '00 civic & '99 - '01 integra are OBD2B.

Your first ECU link is just the conversion harness link again, conversion harness looks fine, the ECU i see looks kinda iffy, theres no need to have the rev limiter set that high on a stock GS-R, 8200rpm is fine. I forget what vtec normally engages at on a B18C, but 5,500 seems kinda high. which wont really hurt anything, but unless you really know what your doing and you have the car on a dyno moving the vtec engagement point just tends to give you a flat spot going up through the RPM range. The GS-R ECU you have should plug into that conversion harness BTW, I can almost guarentee you that its a JDM OBD1 GS-R ECU, hence the fourth plug.

Edit. Stock GS-R vtec engagement point is 4400RPM.

Yea lol i thought it would plug into the stock harness but didnt...and to make it clear your saying that the jdm p72 will be able to plug into the ebay conversion harness?

And thanks for all the info you been putting out most people just criticise and dont tell you straight up

Well, your pictures of the plugs were kinda blurry, but if i'm seeing everything right then yes. This pic (taken from ff-squad) has pics of the JDM automatic OBD1 plugs, just see if they match yours. Look at the lower set of plugs.

Your welcome, But i will tell you "straight up" that if your still trying to do an automatic getting that transmission to shift right is not gonna be fun, heres why. automatic civics use the ECU to control the automatic transmission, shift points and lockup torque converter. Integras on the other hand use a seperate computer called a TCM (transmission control module) The TCM needs to be connected to the ECU, sounds simple I know, but heres where it starts to get complicated. Only automatic JDM OBD1 ECUs have the forth plug, USDM ECUs don't and no one seems to have the pinout for that plug (plug "C") So far as I can tell you need to run a harness from that plug to the TCM. Which wouldn't be so bad if you knew what pins did what. I'm not going to say its impossible to do, you can get pretty much anything to work given the right information, time and money. But the problem is the info is pretty scarce, as are some of the parts (GS-R TCMs are JDM only) and seeing as how you bought the automatic to save money i'm going to assume cost is a concern. I have no idea what your time frame on this project is.

Judging by the part number I believe it's from a '96-'97.
