CAR SHACKING... need input.......
i recently changed my friends front shocks on his legend.. and now the car shakes from side to side... like the car needs an alignment... could this be problem?
cuz ive checked over everything twice to make sure it was bolted up and nothing else was done to the car
the car has about 170k.. so its pretty old
shakes around 30 mph

i'd go back and tighten all the bolts that you guys loosened to install the shocks.
From my experience, if your tires needs balancing, you'll only feel the shaking agove 50mph+. Worst comes to worst a alignment could be the problem.

legends and early body tl's are prone to axle bending issues
Replacing the axles will eliminate the low speed wabble.
First, Make sure you have the wheels balanced and installed correctly.
If its something that has began since you did the work, i guess you shade tree'd something and fouled it up along the way.
Good luck.

yeah, the shaking accrued AFTER I replaced the shocks... which is weird because ive done TONS of suspension work on other cars.. and this is the first.
and EVERYTHING was looked over and tightened to make sure nothing was loose.
if his car was out of balance/ out of alignment from before... I figured he would feel it shake more now.. since the shocks are brand new?

ill take a look at his axles.. thanks for the heads up
