Does anyone have any info on installing front sway bar on a ek ?
i have a 99 dx ..... i would like to see this installed... i search and couldnt find
anything.. thanks

 

I believe you need ex or Si front LCA's first

 

there are two different types of swaybar.

first one you can get from any OEM parts would be 26mm SIR or SI in the US ones. In order to have 26mm OEM front sway, you need front SI's LCA, forks, swaybar + d-braket+bushings+endlinks.

second option is SI's or DX in the US or 4doors civic's LCAs with their swaybar setup. I blieve you can also install ITR's front with civic LCAs. Basicallly you will get more choices on selecting the thickness of swaybars, but you wont be able to have 26mm ones unless you go aftermarket.

Basically you must change your front LCAs and have correct swaybars to complement the LCAs

I'm sorry, I just read that you have 99 DX. Please check your LCAs and see if you can locate the swaybar. I thought DX had front sway.... maybe not

 

ex's have a front sway. dx's don't even have the hole for a sway bar.
