I just recently did a complete b20vtec swap in my 97 ek hatch. I got a chip with a basemap from phearable.com for my p28 and everything seem ok until the car warmed up and that's when the idle dropped to roughly 200. The car starts but if I don't open the throttle the car boggs and completely shuts off!
Timing is on point(stock cams and injectors)
Msd dizzy is practically brand new
New tps sensor
Fuel is roughly about 40psi
The motor has 0 miles and all engine components are new! I tried messing w/ the idle screw in the tb(skunk2 70mm) but nothing happens, I turn and turn and still nothing. Also, if I take a plug from the intake manifold off and have a vaccum leak the car will idle at about 600 or so. That's the only way the idle will stay up so the car wouldn't shut off. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas that might help? I am trying to break in my motor asap. Thanks in advance

IACV, FITV, coolant level, check mechanical throttle cable
Not sure exactly what would be the correct way to fix this....but last i cleaned my FITV....i closed it too much and my idle now is about 100-200 like u.....
I would take it out, clean it while ur at it and open it up just a bit to increase ur idle...thats what i have to do...

haha, after normal temperature right? cuz mine does that...after i use it...turn it off...and try turn it back on...its struggles to turn on because of such low idle. but when cold....fires right up and at cold, idle is about 1400-1500

Yea temp is normal. When it struggles to jump up it eventually starts and fires up to 6-700 than it rocks right back down to about 200 and eventually shuts off
Well today I installed new spark plugs, clean the iacv
