Default bypass valve for accords

i was wondering if you had to have an aem cold air intake to use their aem bypass valve, i have a matrix cold air intake.. will it work?

by the way just make sure you get the right size(as in bypass valve) they come in 3 different sizes, measure the diameter of you matrix intake.
