2nd gear slips out need help!!!

i have a 98 civic dx its fine in every gear but it always slips out of 2nd i figured it was all the bushings were wore so i got a kit and a shifter it was fine for a little now its slippin again anyone know why?

make sure you have enough fluid in the trans.

If it just pops out of gear, i say x2 on the syncros...

The first-second gear synchro set is the most expensive to replace. If that synchro has worn significantly, then you can bet that the other synchros have too and will need to be replaced.
