well I don't know where to start off at. I bought my coupe about a month and a half ago and I'm finally starting to make her look good, I am stumped on a certain part tho. I'm guessing the right side of the car has been repainted at one point and time and the painter cared less on how it looked. First of all they painted over pin striping? would I have to have the right side of my car repainted, what would I do to remove the pin striping? second the clear on the right side of the car looks a little ruff, could I just wet sand the ruff parts?

 

Sandpaper will be the best method for removing the pin-striping, but you'll mess up the finish in the process. If the clear is oxidizing and cracking, you're pretty much going to need a re-spray to get the full finish of the car back.

 

Well the paint looks damn good its just those to areas that concern me. The clear is just kinda wavey on the passenger side, and the paint isnt really layered over the pinstripes that bad, its really easy to see..
