why does my DA run like shizzle when I put vtec ecu in?
My 1990 integra has ls vtec all obd0. When I hook up the stock ecu it runs fine just no vtec. But when I put the jdm b16a obd0 ecu with all vtec wires it breaks up? It sputters and has no power. Vtec engages and feels like a single cam z6 hittin. Has new plugs wires obd0 b16 jdm dizzy.Oh yeah it's a 95 gsr head. No CEL either

Correct b16 ECU's will make any b18 especially a vtec'd one, run like crap.

we put a 00 si ecu in a 2000 coupe with supercharged gsr and it ran better then the p72 with stepdown harness. I dunno y?? Maybe the stepdown is beat. But I traded the DA yesterday for a del sol with mini me.
