Default f20 f22 hybrid question

is it possible to link the F20B to the f22 transmission?
or is it better to have the T2T4 tranny from the actual f20b motor?

my friends engine went to **** so he is looking for a new moto. possibly thinkin bout tossing the whole thing away but wants to keep the tranny since its not in bad condition so we're trying to look at all the angles that are possible to take in this route.

thanks

depends on what the plan is really, I have a h22a with a f22 tranny, good for gas mileage, accel was ok. Now I'm boosted, the longer gears are wonderfull, and I can still cruise 4th or 5th and get great mileage. Then again, a closer geared tranny would be pretty good, way better acceleration but at the cost of mileage. Depends on your friends goals with the car are. And if you can get a deal on a F20 with the tranny or a longblock. hth.

An F22 trans with a NA H22 motor would suck for acceleration, it'd be horrid paired with a motor like the F20b. hmotorsonline sells F20b longblock's pretty cheap. Keep the T2T4. It's basically got H22 ratio's with an lsd.
