Re: tranny question (crxtc2020)
how would i bolt the tranny back to the new engine if the new engine its bolted up to the motor stand....but im guessing i could put the engine on the lift and bolt it up there but then how would i get the tranny up to bolt it up?

Put the motor on the ground and bolt them together there. Trannies don't weigh too much. 70-90lbs at the most...

the motor should bolt to the stand using the tranny bolt holes, so you have to get the motor onto the hoist and then bolt up the tranny

Re: tranny question (Honda Kustums)
i just put a gsr tranny in the other week, did it with my friend. I think it'd be easier to just drop the tranny.
Since your unfamiliar with pulling motors/trannies it'd be easier to just leave the motor in and drop the tranny instead of having the motor sitting on the floor and not knowing how to put it back in
You'll have to jack the car up and put 2 stands on both sides, take both front wheels off, disconnect the axles, take out the starter, unconnect the shiftlinkage, take off the tranny mount, and hit all the bolts that hold the tranny to the motor. Then you should be able to take it out.
Sorry if this information is wrong, it's how my friend and I did mine and everything worked out in a few hours.
